Great Outdoor Music Fest!

Square Fest Attendees visiting from
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The Square Fest was amazing! It is certainly true that music brings people together. People from all over Savannah and even visitors from as far as Philadelphia, Pennsylvania came out to experience this great outdoor music fest.

This afternoon, Forsyth Park was vibrant with the sounds of Funk, Jazz, R&B, Rock, Acoustic, Folk, Reggae, and Electronica.  From 2 in the afternoon until 10 in the evening, Forsyth Park was full of people of all ages enjoying the sounds of the featured bands, Sunglow, Lyn Avenue, Sincerely, Iris, Listen 2 Three, Steve Cantrell, Dope Sandwich, Elephant Talk, Emoticon, Kota Mundi, The Royal Noise, KidSyc@BrandyWine, Sav’h Party Starters and Word of Mouth.

Children were happy at play, and the Forsyth Park Café was buzzing with festival attendees feasting on great sandwiches and desserts. Several people brought tents and picnic baskets filled with homemade goodies.

Amanda and Savannah's Sunshine
Amanda and the event staff did a great job of organizing this event! I am definitely looking forward to Square Fest 2013!
