There is an old saying that “If you want something done
right, get a woman to do it.” Well, I say, “If you want something done
extremely well, call the Top Ladies!” Local President, Lady Annette Mitchell,
was approached to decorate the Hospice House room for a five year old boy who
is non-verbal. She immediately informed the Ladies and the members of Top Teens
of America, and they came together to help.
The room was decorated with the theme” Starry Night.” There
were bright stars and festive lights everywhere. Such a sight is a welcomed
visual to anyone unable to communicate through speech, but I am certain that
this young boy thought it extra special to sleep peacefully under the stars.
